This beach has white sand and friendly environment. Although it has not a large parking area, the visitors are able to use motor bike or automobile and park it near the beach. If you enter Sanur Sindu Beach from Jalan Pantai Sindu Sanur or Sanur Sindu Beach Road, you will find a shrine at parking area. The people of Sindu, Sanur use the shrine to offer canang sari before they start their activity such as fishing and selling souvenir at the beach.
In this beach you can easily interact with Balinese people. English is widely understood even by children as you can in the picture below. A foreigner was showing his digital photograph to the children when they watch a monkey at the beach. I took this photograph at 11.00 a.m. but they sat down calmly under a big tree. The vegetation protects them from sun shine.
If you like to sail around Sanur Beach, this traditional boat can satisfy your need. We call it jukung. The jukung has a cloth sail as its prime mover and two outriggers as it stabilizer. Fishing is also possible during sailing around.
