The name Semawang is taken from the nearest local community or banjar. Banjar Semawang is about 200 meters from this beach. You can reach Sanur Semawang Beach through Jalan Kusuma Sari or Kusuma Sari Road. The beach has large parking areas for motorbike and car at the end of the road.
There is a jogging track connecting this beach with the other beaches at Sanur. The track can also be used for bicycling along the beach. The track is in good condition. Bring your bicycle here or you can rent it here. So, whether by jogging or bicycling, you can use the track to improve your health.
If you want to relax or read your favorite book, an umbrella and beach chair can satisfy you. Get it and spend your time under a big beach umbrella. When I visited this beach, I tried to read a book but I could not read it all since I slept away in the beach chair.
